Company History

Chippewa Graphics was started by the Blackorbay family in 1981. As a Native American owned, National Award winning, Full Service Commercial Printer Chippewa Graphics has enjoyed continuous growth throughout the years. Their capabilities spanned from conceptual design to the final printed product continually exceeding customer needs through experience, updated equipment and personal service.

The Blackorbay family and Chippewa Graphics are proud of the many awards and achievements of the company. Some of the awards include the 1990 MEDA Entrepreneur of the Year. We were re-nominated for this award in 1992 along with the Governors' Entrepreneurship Award in 1991. Among many other honors for industry leadership is the 1992 Federal Railroad Administration MED Award given by the U.S. Department of Transportation. In 1998 we were the recipients of the MMSDC Supplier of the year award.

Chippewa Graphics' main expertise is in multiple color work, in any quantities.
